Early access. This policy describes SmarterSets as it works today. Accounts, cloud sync and payments are not live yet; this page will be updated before they are, and you’ll be asked to agree before any of your data leaves your device.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter in the app (your answers, equipment, plans, workouts, sets and feedback) is stored on your phone, or in your browser’s storage when you use app.smartersets.com. We don’t receive it. Clearing the app’s data or your browser storage deletes it.

What our servers see

When you open smartersets.com or app.smartersets.com, the request passes through Cloudflare and reaches our server, which keeps standard web logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are deleted on a rolling basis. We use no analytics or advertising trackers and set no tracking cookies.

Notifications

The rest timer can alert you when rest is over. On phones these are local notifications scheduled on the device; in a browser they use the browser’s own notifications. Nothing is sent through our servers.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at [email protected]. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
